Pastor-Huebner-Office
The Reverend Michael Huebner
Pastor Michael Huebner was born and raised in central Arkansas, near Little Rock.  His parents, Billy and Ann, had him baptized and instructed in the Christian faith at Hope Lutheran Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas, where they still reside.  Mike spent a great deal of his childhood and early adult life playing baseball.  He is still an avid fan.

He has one sister, Marti Summers, who lives in Memphis, Tennessee.  During high school Marti introduced Mike to one of her friends, Salina Ransom.  Salina was also a member of Hope Lutheran in Jacksonville.  She and Mike attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas together.  Upon graduation Salina taught 1st and 2nd grades at Hope Lutheran School.  Mike worked as an accountant and completed a second bachelor’s degree in philosophy at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

The two married in 2004 and moved to St. Louis where Mike attended Concordia Seminary and Salina worked in education.  In 2008 Salina earned a Master of Arts in elementary school administration, and Mike completed his Master of Divinity and accepted a call to Christ the King Lutheran Church in Spencer, Iowa.  While Mike served as pastor there Salina worked as an Educational Consultant; she now works as a Curriculum Sales Representative in the educational publishing industry.

Mike and Salina have three children. Twins, Michael and Katharine, were born in August 2012, and Andrew arrived in September of 2015.  The household wouldn't be complete without long-haired dachshunds, Gracie and Zoey.

Pastor Huebner was installed at Our Redeemer on June 30, 2013.
